Jess and Paul met in the Spring of 2016 when they joined the same adult kickball team on a whim, Ball and Oates. Before they knew it, they were hoping for rain-outs so they could spend more time hanging out and getting to know each other. After two seasons, they retired their kickball t-shirts and walked away with something more special than they could have hoped for – each other. In the past 3 ½ years, Jess and Paul have gone on countless adventures. In their free time, they can be found frequenting breweries near and far, attending concerts and shows by their favorite artists and comedians, or hanging out at home binge-watching TV with their goldendoodle Bruin. Speaking of Bruin, he played a vital role in the proposal. Paul popped the question by attaching the ring to Bruin’s collar and having him leap onto the bed Thanksgiving morning to wake up Jess with it. It was adorably perfect – talk about something to be thankful for.
